Shop Manager

Annee’s Caphê Sua Da (ACSD) is Australia’s first freestanding Vietnamese coffee bar. We are a vibrant coffee shop with an innovative concept that introduces a new way of brewing, serving and enjoying Vietnamese coffee.

We are not your typical coffee shop; we have our own unique way of running things and as a growing company it is important that you can be flexible and skilful in adapting to new experiences.

Our manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and work flow of the business, meanwhile providing leadership and training for your Team Members, amongst delivering excellent customer service to our patrons. You will be held accountable for Team performances, customer service delivery, shop operations and shop sales. Provide support to management interviewing and training. Responsible for implementing and evaluating new processes and systems. Most importantly you should be team focused and driven by the purpose of making a difference. You must be positive, empowering, and effective while consistently ensuring a safe and happy work environment.

Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

Store Operation: 

∙ Running shop efficiently and oversee Team work flow during open hours

∙ Deliver excellent customer service while building genuine and long-term relationships with patrons

∙ Have complete knowledge of all in-shop operations and system

∙ Following manuals and procedures set out by ACSD

∙ Training team members effectively in ACSD shop systems and processes

∙ Managing and updating employee weekly schedule

∙ Undertake shop administration duties

∙ Develop and arrange marketing and promotional materials from ACSD

Leadership:

∙ Able to build and maintain high team motivation and strong work ethics

∙ Resolve conflict in a professional and compassionate approach

∙ Empower and encourage Team Members to aspire for growth both personally and within ACSD

∙ Deliver and maintain ACSD values and mission to cultivate a strong company culture

∙ Ensure team adhere to ACSD policies and procedures and work health and safety standards

Health and Safety:

∙ Ensure team members carry out all duties in accordance to Work Health and Safety guidelines

Finance: 

∙ Responsible for cash handling and banking needs in an honest and ethical manner

∙ Acquire the knowledge to keep business sustainable and economical

Product Development and Sales:

∙ Contribute in the growth of the ACSD by providing new ideas for the improvement of processes and systems, drinks and products

∙ Able to genuinely refer customers to products that are suitable to their tastes

Experience:

∙ At 2 years in supervisory or leadership role or at least 1 year in managerial role

∙ Hospitality, customer service and bar work experience is preferred but not required

∙ Experienced in working within a large team setting
